ABOUT US:

While owning and managing residential, HOA, and commercial properties throughout the United States over the last several decades, we began to better differentiate between “price” and “value” from a customer’s point of view.   Salespeople came and went and weren’t around long enough to service any of the problems.  When we attempted to follow-up with some of those roofing professionals, they had left the area, and we discovered that the quality of the material they used was not what we paid to have installed!  Since the material manufacturer warranty mandated the use of ONLY their roofing products, the service contracts were null and void. 

Fast forward to 2020, when my wife Stacy and I decided to purchase Key Builders Construction, Inc. from my brother and his wife. Not knowing what was in store with the pandemic, we quickly saw the need for being adaptable and innovative. We then hired and brought in our daughter Lindsey part-time who worked various roles and then elevated to her current position of Business Development Manager. This business has remained in our family, and we are proud of all the challenges we have overcome to continue to be able to deliver a “family like” environment to our dedicated staff, within our small-town community.  Key Builders was born tapping into the residential arena first and then expanded into the commercial markets over the span of 32 years!  Quality and reputation were the key cornerstones that we invested in, and we were committed to building upon. In 2024, we decided to expand our KBC Roofing division into multiple markets, implementing our systems and processes we have spent decades creating and adjusting, to provide a more professional re-roofing experience.

WHAT MAKES US UNIQUE:

The roofing industry is prime for change.  Insurance companies are starting to require higher deductibles (1-2% of home values for each occurrence) and are beginning to only consider repairing damaged portions versus full roof replacements.  We are Preferred Install contractors for Owens Corning and GAF partners thereby providing professional roofing installs and long-term warranties, as well as providing customers with options for door, window, and siding components. What does that mean for you?  It means that we can resourcefully advocate for you with your insurance company.  It means that we may be able to install a more hail resistant product for longevity, thereby reducing claims.   It means that if, in the rare instance, there is a problem, we will be around to competently fix it!  Our decades of building systems and processes allow us to provide solutions to your problems.
